DJing at Alden Orchards

We are happy to have you onsite at Alden Orchards! We always provide a helping hand to ensure you are taken care of as a vendor, and our assistant can be reached at anytime throughout the event at (616) 644-4391.

The map below shows the property layout along with a diagram of where to park. The ceremony is located in an open yard marked “ceremony site.” In the case of poor weather, the ceremony is moved to under the pavilion. Alden Orchards does not provide DJ equipment. There is a small table (4ft) provided for you near the ceremony along with electrical hook-up (marked as a star on the map). Feel free to bring your own table/electrical cords if desired.

The happy hour is often hosted under the pavilion and the dinner is usually in the barn. The dancing location is based on clients chosen space, whether it be the pavilion or barn and includes a 6ft table for your use. DJs often set-up at the ceremony, and then transition equipment to either the barn or pavilion (based on where the dance floor is planned). Electrical outlets can be seen as stars on the map and there is no concern for wattage. Please refer to the client for any additional layout instructions.

Wifi is extended to all spaces on the property. The wifi is “Alden Orchards” and the password is “password” Additionally, the property has full bars for Verizon and AT&T from a cellular based connection.

Last call is to be announced at least 1 hour before event ending and no later than 10 p.m.. Entertainment is to end by no later than 11:00 p.m.

You are welcome to pull into the barn loading driveway to unload equipment at the beginning of the day as well as to load up equipment at the end of the night. Parking is then indicated in the diagram below.

The Ceremony

The ceremony is set-up in an open, outdoor space weather permitting. Otherwise relocated to the pavilion.

The Pavilion

This pavilion is commonly the happy hour space and can be the dance floor depending on client’s plans.

The Barn

The barn is the reception space and can be the dance floor based on client’s plans. In that case, the buffet tables are broken down in the center to make room for dancing.
