Bartending at Alden Orchards

Welcome to Alden Orchards!
We’re excited to have you here. First off, there’s no vendor fee, and our team is happy to support during the event.

Bar Setups

The map below shows the layout and parking. You are welcome to drop off supplies at the bar, before parking in the designated guest parking location.
Bar placement depends on where the client chooses to have dancing:

• Barn dancing – bar is usually on the patio.

• Pavilion dancing – bar is usually in the pavilion.

Both spots work well for happy hour. Umbrellas are available for sun or light rain. In case of bad weather, the bar is moved to a pavilion area prior to event starting.

What’s Provided

• Bar with shelving for napkins, glasses, etc.

• Prep table behind the bar

• 1 trash bin for empty cans and 1 bin for bartender trash

Not included: coolers, can openers, or ice — coordinate these with the client for ice needs, which could be purchased from the nearby gas station, Mobile, a few minutes away.
If the client rents drink dispensers or drink buckets from Alden Orchards, they’ll be set up before you arrive. These are for non-alcoholic drinks only and must be emptied and cleaned after use. Glass bottles and cups are allowed but not provided.

Order of Events

Set-up you are welcome to come onsite anytime after 11 a.m. to prepare the space

Open Services - Client to dictate time of serving based on individual contract. Drinks may be served during dinner if desired.

Last call is at least 1 hour before the event ends, no later than 10 p.m.

Alcohol Removal: All alcohol must be loaded into the clients’ designated personnal’s car prior to the bartender leaving. Alden Orchards to coordinate and help locate designated personal to ensure guidelines are enforced. No alcohol may may be left at the event space prior to bartenders leaving.

Licensing Info

Please email your State of Michigan license and Proof of Insurance using the form below. Include:

• Event date and client names

• Whether you have alcohol insurance (or if the client will provide)

• Any questions

• Your social handle (optional — we love to connect!)
