Coordinating the Day at Alden Orchards
We are happy to have you onsite at Alden Orchards and can’t wait to work with you to ensure it is the best day ever! Ideally, you can coordinate with the client to come onsite for the planning session about a month prior to the event. If you are helping create the timeline for the client, communicate with vendors, ect. you may find the additional resources here that is helpful in the planning.
During the event, there is an event assistants present to ensure the space operates well. You can expect parking assistants who direct traffic as guests arrive. Along with that, an event assistant is present to ensure vendors are set-up properly and their needs are met. The attendant is great for finding items such as zip ties, extra boxes, or whatever the day may present. He/she also clears out trash cans, tidies the bathrooms during the event, tends the fireplace and assists as needed to monitor and support the event activities.

The common space ceremony is full sun with a back-up option under the pavilion.
The pavilion for happy hour and sometimes the dance floor
The main floor of the inn is available to all weddings along with one bedroom upstairs for groomsmen getting ready. The upstairs is available to “full weekend” weddings for overnight guests.
The barn is the common reception space and cannot be “flipped” to serve as both ceremony and reception.
